Hello anyone have any idea that can I build a $600 gaming PC which can beat a console? If yes, could any pros here list out the parts I should get? Thanks in advance!

Can play games at 30fps target range.

imo roy's build can play most games at mid to high settings dependent on games, however will not necessary beat the console level gaming at that budget. Don't forget other than gaming, PC can still do alot more stuffs like photo editing, video editing, microsoft office and many more and thats the reason why pc with almost similar gaming capabilties as console will cost slightly more. Hence the $600 budget pc with much much more functions cannot really compete with the $600 Console which is build to focus on games.

Yes, got to second this. Do not forget that console games are optimized for the respective machines by developers.

Its not about beating the consoles. Consoles graphics will never be as good as pc. The thing is a pc is a pc. It can game, it can do various things To it. Unlike consoles.

Do note that you are able to have upgrade options further down the road where a consoles are pretty much stucked to it till the end of service life.

Pc on the other hand has way more it can do and with that being said, the specs below are already on par with a consoles grade. If you are ups for it in future, you could do a minor upgrade of the psu and gpu along the way. And it will pawn the consoles in every ways.

AMD x86-64 APUs!

I can imagine performance hit when going from Intel to AMD due to a) Intel compilers, b) Faildozer legacy, but the reverse is unlikely...
