Even as a cyclist myself, i see no problem with the driver. I think after he slowed to nearly a standstill to let the 2 pedestrians to cross, he just inched forward like a wheel's length before stopping for the cyclist,

Also, switch on his front white light lah, 1900hrs already. You can see that the cam car and all other vehicles on the roads already switched on their headlamps. Even the PMA behind him also had his front lights on.


To be honest, i have seen quite a few troublemaking cyclists myself on the roads / pedestrian areas / cycling paths like Bay Garden East even while cycling.

Also, cycling with ear piece on.
(some with earpiece on and watching movies).
At the very least use something like those ear conducting stuff or bluetooth speaker lah.

Yep.....

And the scary thing is you know what.......some people (cyclists obviously) can still side with the cyclist in the video.

That is why while cycling, my kid and I also afraid of some cyclists on the road / pathways one, from how i see them acting out there. (also prob coz i had been a driver as well for quite a while + i used to track a bit last time, not just a mere driving licence holder going BlueSG or GetGo)

Nicolette Tan Shi-en, 33, who was a lawyer at the time of the incident, pleaded guilty in April to a harassment charge involving the driver, Elaine Michele Ow, 49.

One count of causing an obstruction along the road was considered during sentencing.

Ow, a cooking instructor, pleaded guilty in February to one charge of committing a rash act to endanger the personal safety of others. She will be sentenced at a later date.

Got off lightly. Instigated the incident with such unruly behaviour, causing the unnecessary ruckus.
