Longer video released....

Even as a cyclist myself, i see no problem with the driver. I think after he slowed to nearly a standstill to let the 2 pedestrians to cross, he just inched forward like a wheel's length before stopping for the cyclist,

Also, switch on his front white light lah, 1900hrs already. You can see that the cam car and all other vehicles on the roads already switched on their headlamps. Even the PMA behind him also had his front lights on.

To be honest, i have seen quite a few troublemaking cyclists myself on the roads / pedestrian areas / cycling paths like Bay Garden East even while cycling.

I think is time for the government to come some laws to discourage these idiots from going off scot-free. I myself too encounter a few the last 2 years. Especially during weekends, where those De-tours taking up 2 of the 3 lanes.

Just don't understand , why these cyclist are so pesky and pea-brains.

Her behaviour was clearly road rage. Surprised she got off without a jail sentence. Law society should take action on her for bringing the profession into disrepute.

The other party lawyer said this during the adjournment

The woman’s lawyer, Mr R S Bajwa from law firm Bajwa and Co, argued that the case had “very unique” circumstances and that a high fine would be sufficient.

He added that the “clang of the prison gate” and “experience of prison life” faced by his client under a short detention order would be “unwarranted” in this case.

joo Chiat road rage
Speak of the devil...Pakcik was right, the sentence was only meted out today! (for the cyclist). The chef hasn't been sentenced yet. 5 day short detention order with no criminal record, basically sleep in the cell, makan prison food for 5 days and adios. Wonder if she will have to share a cell or she will get the Iswaran aka changi hotel king sized suites with ensuite hehe
