Teachers? What is our high salary school principal doing? never guide them? :ROFLMAO:
School and teacher will not be bother if they are not spotted wearing their school uniform and not within school compound

It should be the task of LTA, SP & TP to address the problem but it seem they are simply monitoring even after several complaints from the public

Why need to slam them? They young and think they are invincible

Only way they learn is the get slammed by something on the roads

No brake one ..hiong ..
Exactly, now you mention

For me I’m not a bike enthusiast nor specialise in bikes and can’t tell whether is there any brakes, unless I go near their bikes

But I’ve seen this group of teens riders several time in hdb estate, road, expressway either racing, doing stunt, or simply lazing around or carrying just the handle/ top portion of the bike walking around

Imagine if one day they knock into some pedestrian or resident of the estate

school holidays = 7th month

open gates and unleash the ginna pis

just need 1 life to be taken away then everyone will learn the lesson

Marina Bay area got 1 case like 3 years ago.

One of the main bases near Lau Pa Sat alley way.......

Wearing full black + black bike, , no lights most of the time, unpredictable riding, bad combo....and they really like to be out at night till early morning.
Streetlamps do not help at all....heck even day time also not that useful.

Actually till this day, one thing that i still do not understand is that why some cyclists do not put on sufficient front / rear lights. Makes me wonder if they have a death wish or something.

Even motorcycles during day time have lights (mandated and automatically by design). Simply coz they are not so visible due to smaller sizes compared to cars / vans / trucks.
edit - even quite a fair number of cars have Daytime Running Lights.

And bicycles are lagi smaller....in fact way smaller in visible target size.

West Coast Highway you can go see on a weekend morning, with the early morning sun glare shining right into the drivers' eyes head on (towards city direction), the cyclists are just mere shilouettes and you do not have reaction time until 1-2 seconds prior to overtaking time.

Taking controlled small risks is one thing but having a death wish for not having sufficient rear lights esp on a highway frequented by heavy vehicles with road glare is yet another.
