i think its quite an honour while we must acknowledge sg is a small country and not even a regional power so wat sg can do for them is quite limited be it aid or support is quite limited.

actually sg private sector and non direct gov ngos made up a huge part of sg aid to gaza.

Baby Singapore, whose father works as a cook at a Singapore soup kitchen, was born in Gaza on Oct 16.

A baby girl, whose father works as a cook at a Singapore soup kitchen in Gaza, was named “Singapore” in appreciation of the help provided by a charity in the war-ravaged Palestinian territory.

The child’s birth on Oct 16 was shared on social media by Love Aid Singapore, led by Singaporean activist Gilbert Goh.

Mr Hamdan Hadad told a fellow employee at Love Aid that he has been working at the kitchen for two years.

Hopefully she survives and thrives to adulthood...

I actually don’t dare to donate to those YouTube ads because I can’t guarantee the authenticity of them
Gd that someone is helping them

Reminds me of a boy from south Asia who was named after a famous gentleman in Singapore. I can't remember who though.

I think it was even in the news and papers if my memory is correct. Wonder how he is doing now.
