at least the live interviews reflect grassroot sentiment more than mainstream media/polls that r subjected to manipulation.

at least Hou had done 1 full term 4 years of XP Mayor, not as bad as HGY even thou XP ppl want to 罢免him
1 full year without a mayor sure raise alot of questions & sagas. That was why KP was thinking very hard for last P election in 2020 becos most of his changes & improvement projects need him to focus/monitor to push them through
imagine he went for the P election & with the launch of COVID back then, how to focus
in short, his decision making most of the time is about People First

Being a mayor for less than 1 year & decide to run P election, it will definitely raise questions and doubts by ppl espcially the opposition lo. He also suay to meet with 反送中, which cause him to lose so badly. if not, will be a hard fight with Xiao Ying ba
