We dun need to take sides to benefit. Just take a look at HK, the more protest and messier they get, the more harm they inflict on themselves losing businesses and stability and CCP tightening the grip on HK making businesses and funds think twice and moved $$$ and their operations to SG. Likewise if got any wars in any part of the world, first thing investors will be thinking which country is the safest and stable to park their funds

basically the problem between china and taiwan is a dead lock. there is no precedent cases anywhere in the world with similar situation.

the one who can come out with a solution to resolve this dead lock will be the sure winner of noble peace prize.

I don't think most of the ccp leadership really wants taiwan (this 'most' does not include his majesty unfortunately). But they cannot renounce ownership of taiwan at the same time ( what will happen to xinjiang inner mongolia tibet etc then?)

Whoever becomes taiwan governor needs to think of how to deal with his majesty i.e. tahan until his majesty jiak peng, or the ccp regime uplorry. That may be a good 20 years at least seeing how long lived ccp leaders generally are.
