Eventually what HSS said is correct, if KMT wants to partner with Ke and DPP why the hostile comments from KMT that Ke is not trustworthy, flip here flip there and etc... what's the point of being in an alliance when KMT hates and distrust Ke, KMT dun need to keep badgering.
KMT burnt the bridge by using unfair means to force Ke to align to KMT and Hou interest
KMT will lose if they fight solo, if can win why share with KeP? that why need a partner at least has the chance

if he cannot handle this type of stress, then he is not fit to run for president or vp liao.
KMT is not going to give him any fair agreement to sign for sure.
It is up to him to decide whether it is acceptable towards him and his party.
If he is NOT happy with the terms and conditions, dun sign and walk out.

After he signed the agreement, he still allow his ka kia to make noise about it and play along with them.
Even if he regretted and want to do some revision, settle it close door and peacefully without the hard core approach.
If he allow HSS to chiong like that, KMT will not be happy to make any compromise even if they want to.

I see it this way.
Ke P signed the agreement with his eyes OPEN and willingly.
If he want to play punk after he signed the agreement, how trustworthy he is with all the election promises that he made in the past ?
Dun be a sore loser to give themselves legit excuses that they are being "bullied" when their boss AGREED to the terms and conditions and have no balls to attend the press conference HIMSELF.
Surely, the whole TPP party is not so naive to expect KMT to become Ke P kingmaker.

Are they going to do the same for any future agreement they signed with any one or any countries ?
I just find it simply ridiculous.
If you see this whole issue objectively, Ke and DPP has never refuted nor disagreed or announced he will break the agreement.
The agreement is quite simple but vaguely and both KMT and DPP have their own interpretations to the handicapped because there was no "fixed" percentage point. In fact both parties are standing on their own interpretations of the results and both also correct because the agreement gives too much room to play. The way I see it KMT being 洋洋大党 and the most beneficial party if Hou is being elected should show some kindness and stop blaming who is wrong or right, just work it out what can Ke and DPP benefit when they join the alliance. It's a partnership not a hostile takeover so the way KMT is doing things, who also buey song. The way to a alliance/ merger talks should be pacifying other party and showing them why it's good and beneficial for all parties to join hands and not coercing the other party to summit

You go look at all interviews, Ke never mentioned that the agreement signed was unfair. I think the 6 points signed are so vague that both parties can say whatever they want and it's still the same.
If KMT can say it's 6% and Ke P can say it's 3% both parties also not wrong, not stated specifically inside agreement. Just say Ke P will give handicapp.
Now both sides are just showing cause to pacify their own supporters and also to gain or pull each other supporters for exit plan to go solo, all sideshows only, throwing blame to other parties

isnt it kmt playing punk now by playing with statistics to let hou win?

if in the future sign any agreement with other countries then just blur blur follow through, is not a good thing as well

I see how HSS chionged at KMT for 2 press conferences.
Dun really see how Hou and Ke P can still sit together to shake hand.
That is unless all these stunts are staged to pacify some of the hard core fans who do not want the merger.
Let HSS be the black face.
If Ke P is really cunning until like that, then good luck to the tw people.

Ke P is a shrewd person.
I dun think he will suffer any lapses of concentration in signing the agreement without defining the statistical limit which is the key factor.
That is unless he did it on purpose so that it will be open for dispute now.

The only way to salvage the alliance is for Zhu to negotiate with Ke instead of using stupid polls which they still need handicap to win to force Ke into submission. Just be straightforward and work out the terms that benefits both parties and Taiwan. Not act like secret society gangster coerce ppl into submission. KMT must admit the fact that if Ke joins them as president or VP role, the majority of power and benefits still one side is KMT biggest winner. KMT needs Ke more than Ke needs KMT. And the fact is also that Ke is a stronger candidate than Hou.
All this implies that KMT keep saying they will sacrifice 小我 to achieve 大我 is just all empty talks, the 小我 KMT is sacrificing is Ke.

As I mentioned, all these commotions and saga may be side show for all their tw peasants.
They may have settled the script during the signing of the agreement.
The tw peasants are taken for a roller coaster ride.
