She's already leading a rock star life at the moment with little scrutiny.

Michelle does not have the experience or political cachet with the Democrats. She does however satisfy the diversity criteria of being a black woman, and will bring in voters in favor of that criteria. Putting Michelle as the front runner would be a slight to VP Kamala Harris. The Democrats could flip the ticket with Harris as the front runner, with Michelle as VP. As insane as that scenario is, people who vote for that, simply have no idea the disaster they are signing up for. The "sane" choice would be Gavin Newsom as the front runner and Gretchen Whitmer as VP.
