Russia seriously needs to test its ICBMs. It's war in Ukraine has shown that many of its military equipment were not working, due to poor technology or poor maintenance.

This hit on Ukraine is a safe way to test the ICBM to show NATO that the other ICBMs are in working condition.

This is bs lah. Why would they need to use an icbm on Ukraine? End to end Ukraine only ard 1300km wide. Well within the range of most of putin's medium range missile. An icbm with conventional payload isn't actually much more powerful than most mrbm. Maybe just a few hundred kg more of explosive? Doesn't really justify shooting one at your neighbour where there are more economical options.

And btw, mrbms can also be nuclear tipped. So why shoot an icbm?
What is the difference between icbm and nuclear?
What is mrbms?

Maybe a clear warning that ICBMs can be used against those NATO countries.........
Probably cos once icbm is launched, it will be hard to tell if it’s aimed at Ukraine or NATO. Of cos after a short while people will know but it would be a nerve wrecking short while.

If it was aimed at NATO and no one fired back before the hit, heads would roll, figuratively and literally

If it wasn’t aimed at nato and wasn’t nuclear tipped but someone from nato fired back, heads would roll, figuratively and literally

Tensions would escalate +++. So Putin is like warning NATO not to push further

russia also used north korea weapons on ukraine .... sumore as the invader
putin is quite the hypocrite... he accuses others of doing things but he himself allowing country like nkr to fight for him... but when someone is as thick-skin as putin they can stand on a fake moral high-ground... esp if the thick-skin hypocrite also has nukes~~ :frown:

Putin already said, he know Russia alone cannot take on the whole Nato fighting with conventional weapons, mean nuclear liao if really escalate, and if Russia lose, they already said, if they ceased to exist, there is no need for this planet to exist also.

ICBMs are intercontinental ballistic missiles. In short, it’s just a very long range missile.

it can have a nuclear or non nuclear warhead. Problem is u won’t know until the first explosion
I thought what major escalation?
Nothing radioactive even.

Then why he don't start firing nuclear now?
