I know what you are getting at and I do share your views on the impermanence of life. If Barbie Hsu seeked to voluntarily end her life like Chiung Yao or Coco Lee etc. I would say yeah nothing too much to be sad about. But she didn't choose this end and she didn't really have a fulfilling and happy life before.

I watched her variety shows last time on and off and I recall what she really wanted is to be a happily married wife and mother. Her past relationships failed mainly because the guys didn't want to settle down. And when she finally found an eligible man to marry, she had a miscarriage on her first pregnancy. Losing a baby before birth is really traumatic for a mother. Then what came after was her husband fooling around while married, and her toxic MIL talking shiit about her in public.
