To be honest with the recent big move on blocking FB access to certain foreign influences... I can't help but feel this will have a Streisand effect, rather than the results they expecting to have, especially with the news keep telling you the content of what they posted and now blocked.

If they kept quiet about it.. probably less people would have know, I mean how many locals actually bother to follow and read up foreign politician posts.

Dennis began his professional career as a shipping lawyer and was previously a partner in the law firm he founded. He currently serves as a consultant and has devoted much of his time to his duties as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Hougang SMC in the past term.

Dennis started volunteering with the Workers' Party (WP) in 2011 during the General Election, helping the candidate Mr. Yee Jenn Jong at Joo Chiat SMC. He became a member in 2012. Between 2011 to 2015, he volunteered at the Kaki Bukit and Paya Lebar divisions of Aljunied GRC, and also with the WP team in Joo Chiat SMC. He assisted at MP Faisal Manap’s and MP Chen Show Mao’s Meet-the-People Sessions (MPS) as well as their constituency events. He also contributed to WP’s policy team between 2011–2015 and helped out in the Aljunied-Hougang legal clinic. Between 2013–2015, he helped with house visits at East Coast GRC.

In September 2015, Dennis ran as a candidate in Fengshan SMC after it was taken out from East Coast GRC for the 2015 General Election. Though narrowly unsuccessful, he became a Non-Constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP) from 2015 to 2020.

Between 2017 to 2020, Dennis started helping the then Hougang MP, Mr. Png Eng Huat, and also became a town councillor at AHTC from 2017. In July 2020, Dennis was elected as MP for Hougang SMC.

Dennis wants voters to know that, aside from addressing key bread-and-butter issues like healthcare, cost of living, and specific concerns raised by his residents, he has regularly spoken in Parliament on a range of important issues. These include transport (air, sea, and land, including public transport), climate change and sustainability, foreign affairs and defence, as well as law and corporate governance.

Dennis looks forward to a Singapore with a more robust democracy and stronger governance, where one or more strong alternative parties can become the government. He sees this as an important safeguard for the future of Singapore.

Brilliant policy, really — let's make every Secondary 1 student own or bring home an iPad, because clearly what kids need is more screen time. Naturally, once they're glued to these devices like it's digital crack, parents are left wondering why their children are up until 2 or 3 a.m. every night. So, parents complain to MOE, only to be comforted by the ever-reliable "Don’t worry, the iPads auto-lock at 11 p.m."—which, of course, is completely false. Then comes the classic finger-pointing routine: MOE says it's the schools' job, schools say it's the parents’ fault for not doing this mysterious “onboarding” on the exact right date — because obviously, parents are psychic and know the school’s internal timetable better than the school itself.

And just when you think it can’t get more absurd, schools give parents another random date and expect them to handle it like pros, while they quietly bow out of the whole thing. Many parents are now discovering that schools have basically thrown in the towel on managing the iPads. Meanwhile, MOE still insists on sending iPads home with students, because heaven forbid MOE limit their use to actual school hours. Oh, and let's not forget the real winner here: Apple. With every student needing an iPad, they’re probably having a good laugh all the way to the bank. It’s comforting to know that the folks designing these policies are clearly operating from a bubble far, far away from reality.
Then the tanjong Pagar sg have to cast a resounding Vote in unison to V OUT cotton…

Our parliament seems like a 🎪 for them to 🤡 around…
Lousy school
Illiterate
Flipping files
Populist
Cantonese suan
Most of all, enjoy air con to nap

Sg of CCK, can u still believe him that he stands to safeguard your livelihoods when all the policies are favourable to Ft

our GST is raised 2 % to provide a large surplus in billion $.
Now Cantonese bully confirmed PR will enjoy unemployment benefits starting Jan 2026.

Y demand for houses far exceeded the supply n cos the spike in rental and property prices. How not to when 83k of the 88k new employment in the whole of 2023 are taken up by NON residents
Most of all, now NON residents has free pass to work until retirement age, unlimited tenure. Before they were limited to 15 or 20 years to work here.
What he has done is ignoring sg employment as he suan LMW in Cantonese when asked about the breakdown in employment data for sg PR etc

He gotta pray very hard ncm doesn't get voted in..
NCM is not better.
NCM must go to save NTUC
Something seems very wrong and going wrong with the clowns .

NCM has a hand in the sale of our NTUC and worst of all, after his meeting with Gan Kim Yong, Chee Hong Tat and Edwin Tong during parliamentary recess, it is reported that the sale of NTUc might be possible if all concerns are addressed.
Sg still runs the risk of selling NTuc insurance to German company and where is our guarantee for affordable health care ?

Sg economic models maybe falling behind...innovatin, R+D, novel AI break-thrus, leveraged growth mindsets.

Sg's PRIMITIVE growth trajectories-increasing populatn's demand for gds/services/homes =UNsustainable.

Penetrating markets, industrial/scientific innovatn, R+D, novel break-thrus, need fundamental innate curiosity, thinkin-out-of box, challenging established norms, experimenting without fear of failure=>

Abov can't b inculcated in populace that questions less, toes the line, indulges in political apathy, quells alternatives, eliminates dissent in herd mentality, ignores cognitive dissonance.

Policies catalysing a country's progress are key, regardless which party espouses it.

Sg is no longer a 1965 baby needg authoritarian paternalism. Sg nids radical visionary approaches to navigate volatile 2030s global new economies with Sg as a maturing democracy leveraging on strength of diversity, where if a coalition is needed for natural societal progression, so b it.

Its not a zero-sum-game. Anyone losing vote-share shdn't b inferred as lousy weakling but maybe attributed to political maturing of an electorate in tandem with societal development.

Mud-sling, crucify others, shift goal-posts/game-rules= r childish/embarrassing, back-fires ironically.

In sports, sabotage to weaken opponents is unethical. Sg candidates grow-up; no dirty childish tactics plse.

All civilisations rise/fall; our collective endeavors must rise abv partisan differences for Sg youths/future gens.

Media Doorstop 25th April 2025 – Team East Coast, comprising Yee Jenn Jong, Nathaniel Koh, Sufyan Mikhail Putra, Jasper Kuan, and Paris V, talked about the warm reception and support they received from East Coast residents so far, walking the ground in East Coast, and learning about voters’ concerns.

Jenn Jong also explained why he came out of ‘retirement’ to support what he believed was a strong slate of candidates in East Coast GRC. They were joined by Workers’ Party Chair Sylvia Lim and Secretary-General Pritam Singh, who addressed questions from the media.

Reading the first few pages of The Straits Times online, so many quality and quantity write-ups of PAP attacking the opposition.

And so less write ups on the oppositions. Now I understand why people don't read the straits times anymore

people's minds are so fast being manipulated by news and the free eggs
And how much money are we pumping into SPH again?

Faisal's vision for Singapore is for a more caring, gracious and inclusive society. To achieve this, he envisions a future where our Parliament will have well-balanced representation - a “First World Parliament” which embrace the values of “Unity in Diversity”.

Family lies at the heart of Faisal’s life. He firmly believes that the family is the foundation of any nation — and that strong, empowered families are key to a stronger society. To support the development of functional and resilient families, public policies must promote work-life balance. This enables each family member to meet their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs, thereby reinforcing the family unit as a whole.

What Faisal enjoys most about his work in the party is the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds, all united by a shared commitment to serve fellow Singaporeans with compassion, dedication, and sincerity.

Faisal have been serving as the Vice-Chair of The Workers' Party since 2016.

The Workers' Party (WP) said "no promises, commitments or agreements" were made to religious teacher Noor Deros, or anyone else, in exchange for political support for WP candidates, clarified secretary-general Pritam Singh on Saturday (Apr 26).

"If he thinks that endorsement means we will carry his views and share his sentiments, he is sadly mistaken," said Mr Singh in relation to Noor Deros calling his followers to vote for WP candidates such as former Aljunied GRC MP Faisal Manap, who is contesting in Tampines GRC this election.

Mr Singh's statement comes a day after the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Elections Department Singapore (ELD) revealed that several online election advertisements had been posted by foreigners, urging Singaporeans to vote along religious lines. The authorities said they directed Meta to block access to these posts for users in Singapore.
