i don't care about non minority race candidates. wp can have a new candidate who was ex harvard + ex nasa + ex navy seal green beret SAS commando and it doesn't move the dial much.

my only biggest concern about WP is their minority race candidates.

no minority race candidates, no grc.

PAP have them by dime a dozen.

What they need are minority star candidates.

At this time only got 1 and that is Harpreet, and Harpreet is not the recognised as the minority requirement for the East side GRCs, so if he is still fielded in the East his team still needs to put in a Malay candidate.

Think the approach is like incumbent bah. Have a heavy weight to carry the team, the rest no need that strict. In the eyes of many ignorance and bias, they tend see and focus on heavy weight more. That's why incumbent do what it do. If it happens to be a minority, then good lor. If not, doesn't matter also, as long as there is one heavy weight there.

Interestingly, there ain't many ladies introduced as new faces. Hope to see more women, more diversity. Part of the reason Sengkang PAP lost the previous time cause they field all guys.
Indeed. Rather field someone inferior just to fit the criteria and Singaporeans have to stomach this..
