Maybe one factor that Intel lan chips have better prices
on bulk. Besides that Intel Lan have better network
management software so maybe Asus adopt it over Realtek.

This is first time we c Intel network chips on AMD motherboards. :s22:

Actually IIRC when Anandtech reviewed the P67 chipset they commented that Intel's LAN chip is excellent, better than Realtek's ones. I guess that's why its used; Its a high end solution.

AMD Fusion Llano FM1 socket motherboard:

http://vr-zone.com/articles/exclusive-amd-s-fm1-desktop-test-board-pictured/12096.html

This mobo looks like OEM reference board, look at
how clean and cheap the board feels.

It may look cheap but its actually very expensive wor....

Cause such test boards are meant for testing and debugging purpose. You can see it loaded with numerous connectors not found on retail boards one.

BIOS also super one. Loaded with stuffs you cannot find in a retail board.

Why aim so low :(

AMD FASTER COME OUT BD RAWR!!!

he is used to build low cost system. so the price lower is better for him.
but, if one doesn't really play games or do video encoding 23/7 on their machine then a very low end cpu would provide more than enough performance in daily usage.

Yep always look for price/performance as per *my needs* :s13: I think by the time my needs need more than an X4 i would be on an X6 Enhanced BD liao :s12:

Sources also agree that Bulldozer will not shine in
single-threaded applications but multi-threaded
it will dominate.
(Where's that article? All buried in my brain.) :s13:

PCmark cannot ultilize more than 4 cores so
AMD Bulldozer 4 cores could reach Intel i7-2600k
than another 4 cores...

Quite LOL at Asus ROG mobo with Intel gigabit lan? :s22:

can shine when i use x264 and comes with DX11 gfx???:love::love:
