Hi guys, need some help here so TIA.

Basically I arranging my monitor position, so i removed them and plug them back shortly. After which, my computer just doesn't boot up properly and goes into a constant boot loop.

Had tried resetting cmos, erasing the contact parts of rams and GPU.

Specs as follows:
i5-2400 with Biostar TP67B+
Kingston Value-ram 2 x 4gb
Leadtek GTX460
OCZ StealthXStream 600W
WD Blue 1 TB
3 X CM Fans

I had a similar problem about 6-7months ago, but at least at that time, after a few boot loops, it allowed me to go into windows to retrieve my files. Turn out it was the mobo, which I've rma-ed and got it back 2 months ago. Could it be the same problem again? It was working 12 hours ago when I was still playing dota2 though.

edit: it can't even get into bios, nor any startup screen is seen. seems like nothing is detected on the screen at all. i.e. on the computer (fans all on 'cause can see led lights), within 3 sec it will start to reboot (all fans seen to turn off and start again.

edit: few days ago i got the problem that the nvidia driver has failed and successfully recovered itself (driver 320.49). did some google and realise quite a number of problems with the 3XX drivers so i downgraded to 295.10 which worked perfectly until today.

Once again TIA:o

thanks for the replies guys. really appreciate it.:)

i once have tis problem and was found 2b 1 of my 4 ram(total 16g) is faulty.
i basically tested 1 by 1.

tested both rams (4gb each) 1 by 1. same problem persists.

This could happen because

1.mbo is faulty

2. ram stick faulty

3. PSU Faulty.

try removing a stick of ram and try

test your PSU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqPTD6LXQsg

btw, what mbo are you using?

seems like asus mbos like to do the restart loop once or twice before the PC actually do the POST

my mobo is biostar tp67b+. bought it abt 2 years back when quite a few bros reccomended it in this forum. wonders if anyone have had the same problem as me...

Sounds like somewhere is shorted or something.

anyway to check this? :(

Looping restart normally meas some parts is defective or loose. In your case, you mentioned you had just reposition your monitor.

It could be your GPU not properly seated. Try to take out and fix back the GPU.

thanks to all bros for your advices and solutions. tried them all and the pc managed to worked for a few more hours and the same thing happened again.

was guessing it was the graphics card that was spoilt, sent in to ban leong to rma. now using an old 8600gt to tong for a few weeks.
