Cooler Baseplate Scratch?

Hey guys,

I just got a Noctua NH-D15 and when I opened it I noticed there is something like a scratch on the baseplate. Is this normal? I have used alot of coolers before and its the first time I have seen this:

Is it an open-box review item which you bought from a certain shop in SLS?

Anyway the effect on performance is minimal.

No leh, from quite a recommended shop and it was behind the counter.

In fact I chose it over many other shops because I thought I would get a better set there

Was there a protective sticker covering the base plate? If yes, it was already that way when it left the factory

Was the sticker missing or tampered with? If yes then u got pwned.

Noctua HSFs (not sure if for all models, but definitely for NH-D15) do not come with a protective sticker/film, they have a hard plastic snap on piece as protection instead.
