Core 2 Duo good enough to run win 7?

Hi, I have 2 Core 2 Duo machines E7500 with 2 gb of ram. Do you think they will be able to run Win 7 comfortable with Office 2010?

it will run fine for basic tasks like ms office n word n surf net

Serious? Yeah, I was actually thinking its more of a user problem. This 2 are office PCs, and probably had a lot of rubbish programs installed. I think the lack of HDD space also contribute to it. Yeah, maybe an increase in ram and HDD space will be good.

My sis's pc using e7200 also 2gb ram bought on 2008 is using windows 7 since 2009 till now no problems. Swapped an SSD for her a few months ago though.
