corsair H80i fan issue

Hi all! recently i build up a pc with corsair h80i. but i cant seem to find the corsair link. i guess it is being plug into the motherboard fan header. is there anywhere to control the fan speed? as it is 2850rpm. super super noisy!!!!

You need to software to control the fan speed. Go corsair website to download.

corsair link program only for use if i connect using the usb right? if without the usb leh? any program to control the mobo fan header?

That mobo fan header, if u realised, only gt 1 pin. That pin is to read the rpm of the pump. Thats all. The only way to control is thru the usb header.

yeah i understand about the pwm for fan. but then got any program directly control the fan? but not using corsair link since not connected there also.

Speedfan? Or something like that, iirc. But nt as good as the link.

You can actually use the corsair link to set a custom profile, for fan speeds at diff temps.

problem is i dunno why i cant find the corsair link when i build it. maybe the person lost it?

Corsair Link is a program. Not a device.

It can be easily downloaded in Corsairs website.

The other Corsair Link is aka a device that allows you to connect other components and link it to Corsair Link Program.

By right your pump head for h80i should have a USB port that needs to be connected to the USB header on mobo to enjoy this h80i.

yeah i mean the internal usb. i know of that program. but without the internal usb i cant use anything. i tried finding but really cant find anything.

Then you got to ask that guy whom sold you this unit.

Without it you cant do anything to it. Not unless you reroute it using a normal MicroUSB B type to a normal USB header and plug it into the back of your mobo lol.

Not sure why I see all the reviews they come with the internal usb cable for it. Abit weird. Any distro to check with?

looking at corsair website.. the usb cable should be part of the contents in the package
