Hi!

Can I ask where can I get the corsair vengeance K70 BLUE switch with RED led?

I tried finding in most of the shop price list but they are not bringing in this.

Any one with the similar keyboard know where can I get?

And also, if I get it on amazon, will there be any keyboard layout difference? Does the warranty cover in Singapore too?

Thank you!

I believe blues are EOL already, for the old K70 with red LED.

Is it common for lit keyboards to have faulty leds? Used my cm stormstrike for a few months only two died.

Can change or reactivate it easily? Amazon item so i think no local warranty.

Sent from Space using GAGT

LED die often, especially with the earlier series. I had trouble with my K95 last time too. Sold it immediately after it came back from warranty replacement.

Hi,

Corsair is International warranty AFAIK. I've sent mine for RMA service after 1 year 7months into it.

In short, it's safe if u get it from US.

The RMA Process is as follows

  • Create a ticket on Corsair website
  • Wait for the tech officer to view and approve
  • after approval they will tell u to send it back to them (it was a taiwan address)
  • when they receive it, they will reply u with acknowledgement
  • they then tell u when approx. u will receive it back ( they used UPS service so its directly to your house)

But do note that u MUST have your receipt , they will ask u for it or they cannot proceed with the RMA service.

I was using a K70 Red Switch , Red Led. I ended up changing to Brown Switch , Red led (Requested for it during RMA)

Hello, please use the word "international" warranty properly please.

When a product qualifies for international warranty means that you go to any country listed in their webpage/warranty card. EDIT: Usually with a vase number of countries to send to.

If a product has a selected country that requires you to ship it to only the manufacturer, then it is not a international warranty.

If Corsair has international warranty, i would have serviced it here in Convergent. Which is not.

To TS, Corsair Keyboards that are bought from Amazon can either be sent back to Amazon, and have the products shipped back to you. Or go through Corsair US or they will revert you to Corsair TW.

Any idea how long is the total RMA service? Do you need to pay a fee to send it back to them? Find it a hassle to send products back to other country.

Damn, i love the clicky sound of blue so much :(

Ahhh now i get it! Its so troublesome. Too bad they couldn't cover the international warranty in Singapore too.

Thanks man! I was looking at the ducky shine too! love the new looks!
and also the the TtEsports Poseidon z RGB

They have been replaced by the new variant of k70.
Is there a reason why you are considering k70 and not others?

Erm, I did some research and ultimately settled down with k70. But couldn't find the blue switch!
Other alternatives I saw are Ducky Shine or the TtEsports Poseidon z RGB.

Unless you really want the bling or the media control keys, I highly recommend Filco keyboard. No frills, no gimmick. I know Roy bro uses it and would recommend it as well.

It may not look like much in pictures or video, but once you hold one yourself, you'll know what I'm saying. It's so solid that the other keyboards look bad.

For media control keys you can remap it no issue.

Best part, it's available in every configuration you generally want in a keyboard

hey thanks for recommending man!

i have also look up on filco and there are alot of positive reviews on it! but the downside is that i do have a need for the backlit since i always use my computer under very dim light, so having backlit will help very much!

how is the TtEsports Poseidon z RGB? Since its alot cheaper and its below the price of 200bucks

It seems like a decent keyboard. I have never used it before so I can't give you my thoughts, but reviews are generally good. Just be sure to check if there would be any issues over time.

Durability is something you need to spend some time doing research on. Enjoy your new keyboard! Let us know which one you choose.

Personally I will not recommend the K70 from that series due to LEDs dying out easily.

Currently using the Filco Majestouch 2 with Ninja keycaps. Really tempted to get the wireless one and swap my keycaps over. But 269 really abit too expensive.

Filco, however, is excellent. The first time I held one I knew that was the right keyboard for me.

I was told that the k70 with red led is longer in production when I was hunting for 1 last year. All new K70s comes with RGB instead.

Bought it and 3 months later, sold and reverted to Filco.

I was 80% sure i'll get a filco, but I found varmilo for about half the price, so I got one, yet to use it daily, for my new place, so want to keep it "fresh". but it does feel quite solid, and pbt keycaps are great on the touch.

The only fee u need to pay is the shipping fee from SG to their address it was around 30-35 sgd iirc, i sent via Singpost.

They will tell u to please make sure the item is secured or the rma might get rejected (basically they want to ensure it doesnt arrive in more than 1 piece). So i coiled the cable nicely and tied it with a raffia string and got the biggest bubblewrap protected thick envelope from singpost to mail over.

Actually if u don't mind Browns with RED Led, i am thinking of changing to K65. But most people who wants blueswitches are diehard fans. Well pm me if u are interested we could work something out :)

Yup try it out properly!

Imo there are a lot of great brands and keyboards as long as you don't limit yourself to certain brand or gimmick (like LED backlighting)

This is a bit of a tough one, because its not sold locally and there are only browns and reds, but the Logitech G610 Orion is another good choice.
