never ever buy from this dishonest seller.
Sold a defective PCIE usb card and refused to refund.
Had already file a report with CASE.
lesson learnt, never ever buy from ah neh shop....:eek:

Huh, are you new to SLS? Shops don't offer refund there one... They only offer exchange. Or are you just trolling here?

normally those with new post and complain in forum i take with pinch of salt, n not sure who or wat is hiding behind that screen.

Cybermind... LOL

I bought something from them which came faulty twice. Salesperson (forgot his name) straight away give refund. No complain. No argument.

Got warranty RMA at distro what.
I hate pple who RMA at retail shop.
Cos sometime manufacturer defect or stupid users thought is a bug and stupidly send back to shop to RMA then up the seller no time to warranty and restock then spoil the experience for new buyers.

Got spoil go distro don't know Google or ask

First I saw the post count, seems dodgy.

But I recalled having a bad experience with Costronic in the past. So I think it is not impossible. Basically they help setup a PC for me then, put it back in box for the casing, taped and tied it up before I picked it up. Thinking it is fine, I took it home. When I took the casing out from the box, the front of the case was defaced... I sucked it up after thinking that it would be silly of me to take a cab down to change it and then back home again.

Anyway, most stores will indicate items sold not refundable. At most they give you back a replacement.

There should be a cool off period, i.e. 7 days exchange if faulty. To be fair, it may or may not be the store's fault, but considering some distros are really out of the way, for a low cost item, it makes no sense to bring it down.

After the cool off period, I agree that it is user responsibility to send it to the distro.

it's the PCIE USB controller card.... tested all 4 ports , only one working, one detected as USB 2.0 and teh other 2 can;t work at all.

when I file a complaint with CASE, CASE advise consumers have rights to request for cash refund if the product defective.... after all this bloody shop already lost its integrity... I have no faith in whatever products they carry in the shop now.

I went down to this shop at 4 pm to keppo a bit.... the "CONtronic" shop was closed.... may be kenna raided or under investigation now.....

I've gotten a refund from Best Bargain before for something defective. Or are you trolling here?

Noobs should never even THINK of shopping at SLS let alone actually shopping there. Confirm tio chop.

Any old bird will know which are the shops that are safe and which are the shops to avoid.

For a noob to go around SLS not knowing which shops are "safe" and which shops to avoid, its as good as walking around with a placard that says "Come and con me, I know sh*t." :s8:

TS should have done his due diligence to ask friends who are IT savvy or at least to post here for advice. Walking into SLS without knowing which shops to avoid, is like going swimming and not knowing the difference between a dolphin and a shark. :s13:
