FWIW I’m not a fan of this annual tradition. Wherever you are in your saving/investing/wealth building/life enjoyment journey, congratulations!

The only additional thing I’ll say is my lovely spouse couldn’t resist looking at her CPF interest credited on December 31, and she was pleasantly surprised. But that thrill lasted about 30 seconds.

it's quite disturbing to have such a thread in my opinion.

once there's a difference, people will start to compare, and comparison is a major source of unhappiness in terms of well-being.
This is an annual tradition. Has anyone been harmed by the previous editions of this thread? If everyone is still ok, we can afford to relax a little 😅

Like a famous blogger says, if ASSI can do it, so can you!

If ASSI can post his CPF balances, so can you!

For 1million only Interest of $31,207.95:unsure:Miserable Life
risk free on the full faith and credit of the sg government that is triple A rated.

what better alternative with the same level of risk profile that doesn't make it miserable life?

- professional in early 30s
- no top up
- not withdrawn for investment or housing
- regularly transfer OA to SA
- have only used MA for paying integrated healthshield insurance premium

Thanks for sharing. Are you married? If married got kids? If both are no congrats at this rate you can retire even before 55. Also assume your parents are self sufficient becuz old ppl fall sick use finish their Medisave govt may tap on children Medisave to offset. Healthcare cost in Spore no joke based on my mum recent episode.

Looking at TheFinance.sg, 2 bloggers have already posted their CPF interest (you can guess the amount from the interest plus or minus)... I expect more to do so soon, same pattern as last year.

I also expect at least one blogger to post about why it is bad to post your CPF balances online 😅
