CPU BOTTLENECK GTX 570SLI?

I'm going to get a 2nd gtx 570 to SLI just for fun tomorrow. I have already confirmed the deal so there's no backing out. i've been reading up allot today about CPU bottlenecks but i was wondering if a I7 940 overclocked to 3.7ghz would bottleneck a sli set up. Would the PSU be able to just scrape through the wattage load.. dont have the budget to upgrade it anytime soon..

i7 940 @ 3.7ghz
GA X58A-UD7(v1.0)
N570GTX Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC 1.25gb (stock factory settings)

N570GTX Twin Frozr II/OC (Getting this tomorrow , 2nd card to be SLI-ed )

Team Xtreem 3x2GB 1866mhz DDR3
Corsair HX 650W Modular Power Supply
Windows 7 ultimate 64bit

How old is the psu? 650w should be able to, but very very close to wattage limit. I would recommend 750w.

ya just like what he said. its very close to the psu limit. if the efficiency of the psu dropped then u might encounter BSOD...

I think as long as you don't overclock, it should be fine.

Thanks all for the replies! Its about 2-3 years old? How about the cpu bottleneck my cpu is actually overclocked already to 3.7ghz from 2.9ghz will that be a bottleneck.. thats my main concern..

i dont think i will overclock the cards for now happy with even 1 570's perfomance hopefully all goes well tmr if not i might just downclock my system.

Im just worried about Fps dips i used to have that allot in my 1155 set thats why i sold it off the cpu was a pentium g645 with a 6970 2gb couldnt even run my games on med settings with AA off.

Your CPU is still good for gaming. What voltage is your CPU running at? Just realized your rig still got a H50 to run off the PSU.

1.2750V in the bios , but i think due to v drop it's 1.214-1.248 on load with prime 95.. On cpu-z.
