Hi guys,

Appreciate some advice for the following problem :s11:

Sometimes my pc wont boot up unless i unplug the ethernet cable

Sometimes unplug ethernet cable also wont boot up

Sometimes have to keep pressing the start up button many times before it boots up, i had this prob for a long time so i suspected the start button is faulty. So i went to change my casing last mth. So unlikely that its the button fault.

Sometimes it wont even boot up.

Sometimes it boots up then tells me overclock fail, reload defaults. I never did OC anything.

Whats the problem? Faulty hardware or some mysterious thing?

Also in the event of a power trip, assuming the pc is switched on, are there any consequences?

Help a bro out...

Is that possible? Cooler master rs 550, approx 2yrs, pc never switches off..even while travelling. (Cause of the previous mentioned start up issue)

It could be the cause... CM low end psu are really :s22::s22::s22:. What is worst is that you are running it 24/7... Sure to degrade further...

You can bring your rig to #02-32 at SLS, ask nigel to lend u a PSU to boot ur system. If it works, den high chance your psu components failing le... Need get a decent model, like Seasonic G 550/650w, Superflower HX500/600w.
