Running on palit 680GTX and using deep blue assassin cpu cooler. Realised when i play CSGO, my cpu will restart. I started monitoring the CPU and GPU temp using Coretemp and gputemp. CPU never exceeds 60degrees and GPU is around 79 degrees. however i realised the cpu cooler fins are rusty, would that caused the temp to rise?

I even suspecting the apps to be showing wrong results. what should i do? get a new GPU or cooler to test it?

If not cpu thermal paste, likely to be the ram, do use eraser to rub over the copper fins and reinsert in again.

i used to have this problem the issue was my system sometimes cannot read the ram. Then i need to resit the ram many times despite cleaning the gold contacts.

My symptoms are
1. sometimes boot cannot see bios
2. sometimes boot cannot see bios and it will keep reboot auto.
3. PC blackout and system off then cannot boot.
4. After i resit the ram my system can boot.

memtest shown no errors because it was contact issue.

think my ram doesn't fit into the mobo well, maybe measurement issue from board or ram.

Can be many problems, but as you said, likely overheating.

For one, your GPU temps seem kinda high. But that should still be within the OKAY range.

If you think your CPU is overheating, you might wanna consider changing the cooler/heatsink. I personally dislike stock coolers cos they can't cool efficiently.

If all else fails, maybe its a sign to get a new computer? =)
