Cpu shut down suddenly

Hi guys, need some help here. Was watching youtube video last night and suddenly cpu shut down. Tried re-starting but to no avail. Waited till today but still cannot start up my cpu. With power supply, e casing fan not spinning. No standby led light either. Tried swapping socket point and psu cable but still cannot. How to test e psu to know power going to mobo?

No lights at all on mobo when PSU is powered on? If so likely a dead PSU. Maybe try a spare PSU if you have.

How old and what PSU are you using

Switch to desktop mode to view the rig spec.

Could be CPU issue. Do the paper clip test and see if your PSU fan will spin.

What im afraid i will short the mobo instead since e fan spinning test is done on the 24 pin socket with e rest of the peripheral sockets still on e mobo.

Got a Coolermaster Elite 460 to replace Fsp,now up and running. Thanks to *adiBOY's link. Hope the new psu last.

Bring back to pc theme for rma? the psu box no distro sticker though.

Great that it's working now with the new PSU. Now call PC themes and ask who is the distro for FSP PSU. Proceed with RMA from there.

Haha,just wanna get the cpu up and running. I live Woodlands leh,think of the journey down to sls and back with only a psu jin sian. So went to pc zone @ causeway point. Btw, which brand of psu will u recommend?

Get reputable brands like Superflower and Seasonic X series with local warranty support. If not EVGA from Amazon (cheaper and comes with international* warranty).
