Update: Maybe I fixed the issue. After pressing some the CPU and cables in the motherboard
Idle temp 38-45.

Maybe check task manager see if there's any programs forcing your cpu to work extra hard? If not, reformat and install windows and drivers and see if the problem persist.

Mine case, CPU temp shoot up to 110c and system lock-up and shutdown... after on/off a few time then realize AIO pump died, replace w new one and all back to cool 39c idle.....

If the sensor really spoil, you would need to replace the cpu. The thermistor or thermal diode is part of the cpu die. Cannot be replaced.

However, this sensor usually last very long. You might want to check ypur cooling instead. Eg. mounting came off, thermal paste dried up, heatsink clogged with dust.

Btw, check your taskmanager to see if something is running in background, esp. malware.

Absolutely nothing running in background or task manager. Is that normal? I think might be the AIO pump down

You can check the status of the MB header to which the pump is connected. In the BIOS, it will show either fan RPM or flow rate. If that is zero, the pump is dead.

It's usually the motherboard software that is showing u the RPMs.

I using MSI and ASUS, both have monitoring software.

I think AS OEM Tecware AIO... if still cover by warranty then heng-lah. If not just get a corsair or NZXT with 5yrs warranty.

mine idle at 40-50 range ( stock cooler) (Noisy as hell).



my idle temp is about 46-ish in an air-conditioned room. however, yous seem way off.

(me got an aftershock unit)

their after-sales/customer service is really subpar.
