Dear all,

Looking to upgrade my CPU. Current Specs are as follows:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz
Memory Capacity 8.0GB
Video card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
Hard disk 1, Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500GB (500GB)
2, Hitachi HDT725032VLA380 (320GB)
Motherboard z68a-gd65 (g3) (ms-7681) (4.0)
PSU Xigmatek NRP-VC603 600W
CPU Casing NZXT Phantom

Basically looking to change all other than graphic card and hard disk, looking at Ryzen 3600 but do not know what motherboard to tag along with it. Not going to do any OC at all. Daily usage will be gaming and watching movies. Looking for more functionality than aesthetic purposes for my pc
.

Processor Ryzen 3600
Ram Looking at 16gb
Video card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
Hard disk 1, Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500GB (500GB)
2, Adding an additional SSD 860 EVO 1TB
Motherboard Which motherboard to go along?
PSU Which PSU to go along?
CPU Casing Looking for best airflow PC case. Cannot stand dust.

Many thanks for the help in advance!@

Can go for B450 Tomahawk Max for motherboard, can get either Superflower or Seasonic for psu. Case wise maybe can consider Meshify C or Phantek P400A bah?

^^^^ this. Superflower is a good choice and the P400A was rated as one of the best casings recently by one of the YouTube sites. Meshify C is also good though I am partial to Phanteks since I am using the P400S.

Lazada sale ends in less than an hour so you might want to grab a component or two first.

Hmm 650W should be good enough ler bah. Ram wise there are a few options, crucial ballistix sport lt, corsair vengeance lpx, gskill trident z, etc. (Some have a pleasant experience with a certain brand, so ymmv)

Motherboard VRM Rating
For 3600, you can see a lot of MB easily fit the bill. So I would say depend how much you want to save. My cheapest recommendation is Asrock B450M Pro4

PSU Tier List 1
PSU Tier List 2
PSU Tier List 3
Value for money recommendation is EVGA G+ Gold 650w or Seasonic Focus+ Gold 650w. Both are 10 years warranty, tiered for gaming pc on all the lists. Corsair RM 2019 version also is 10 years warranty but unsure of price.

Ram recommend getting 2*8GB 3200mhz cl16. Brand don't really matter, find the cheapest.
