My contract coming to an end of this month, yet I dunno which phone to choose..

My usage of the phone, mostly social app, music, games, and msg-telegram WA etc
Not much of a camera fan

Any recommendations??

Got few ideas, htc 10, one plus 3, or the popular iPhone 6S or S7

I will go for non mainstream phones, Samsung and Apple phones are far too common and everywhere you see them. Phone like nexus, oneplus, HTC and even Moto has its flagship phones that can be as good if not better than Apple and Samsung and yet uncommon giving you a non conformist image.

If you're switching to SIM-only plans, get Xperia XA is good enough. Affordable but reasonable performance. Also won't make you look like you don't have much money unlike Chinese brands.

If you're getting on contract, maybe Xperia X or HTC 10. If you can get Xperia Z5 on contract get it too, much cheaper but also excellent for its current price.

After Samsung Galaxy Nexus, there are no Nexus devices that is tied to any telco contract, so don't think about it if you're on contract.

Sony Xperia devices are very good devices even though on Android side it is kind of expensive. Xperia Z line gets >2 years of Android support before it is discontinued, more than enough for a 2 year contract. Not as long as iPhone but then most Android flagship don't get a proper 2 year of support.

I am using Xperia M5 and it is fast despite being a midrange. Camera is excellent too (same sensor as Moto X Style/Pure which is a flagship in late-2015).
Too bad it is not available for contract anymore, so your best bet is the high end Xperia Z5 or Xperia X (pay a bit upfront on selected plans). :s13:

Got a Z5 recently too, was considering the X too at first but decided to dive for the Z5 instead for its more variety of accessories and also better specs and design(IMO) haha

My apologies, HTC 10 still isn't available on the Big Three at all on contract.

Good to hear that. Just remember that for Xperia Z5 you have to act quick if you want it, it could be out of stock soon since the telcos are already focusing on Xperia X.

Oneplus 3 should be reaching telco soon since sales open end of this month. If you know basics of rooting and recovery, second best to get compared to google nexus series.

Sony is a dying mobile company just so you know. Z5 is great but sd810 chipset is bad. Do some research. I'd get oneplus 2 for ~350 bucks but that doesn't have nfc.

S7 ish good but samsung tends to lag after a year for god knows what reason.

Htc also dying company but I do admit the 10 is sexy as hell.

Not sure whether will Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe reaching in time with your contact or not. Hahaha.

Xperia Z3+ by Sony is a mess with the overheating issues, but Xperia Z5 uses the same chip but didn't. It has dual heat pipe system to dissipate the heat generated.

My friend's Z5 heat pretty badly still. Even with better heat dissipation, it still produce a great amount of heat, unless you root and downclock it like how oneplus 2 is doing.

I attest to this. My normal usage of the Z5 works fine with minimal heat, only when I started to play some videos or updating many apps at once then heat starts to get massive.
