It's a super hard case to argue.

Considering that the screen looks like it was subjected to a point load near to the top left resulting in the crack, rather than a heat expansion that ruptures the glass overlay.

Nonetheless, 90% of drops does not kill the screen. Since your screen and phone seems dead, they probably will buy your explanation and get it fixed for you. Else be prepared to cash out quite a huge sum for repair.

Any idea on the amount they charge to get it repair at Samsung service centre? The phone was still under warranty.

in order for glass to shatter till like that the heat must be very intense and if the heat is really that great your phone could have already caught fire before the screen crack,by the way from the picture i can see a impact point on the screen and i guess someone could have drop something on the screen while you are charging the phone.

warranty could have void with such screen crack therefore they might charge you between $180 to $200 plus (note 2 screen plus bezel was $180).

Maybe you can try telling them your story and insist that you did not do anything to damage the screen. See what they say to that. Hope you can get it fixed under warranty.

As for the crack screen I m very sure nothing have hit the screen or drop. But nevertheless when I unplug the cable my thumb was pressing at that area using my left hand, while right hand was at the cable connector. So could it be when it was very hot on the screen and trying to plug out the cable that time we will of cos we will hold the phone and pressure the screen and will cost this?
