anyone knows how much to replace the LCD ? totally unusable now . and also how to factory reset the phone in this state ? thinking of selling it , but inside got my personal information .

Not worth it to repair the phone, the screen cost around $200, and the phone's market value is around $200, better off getting a new phone..

I guess you could keep it as paper weight..

Could try initiating factory reset via adb using usb connection. But that's if adb is enabled.

Go repair universe see got the teardown video and if easy to do so, go eBay buy the parts and change yourself. That what I do for my dad incredible s.

if i sell can get 50 bucks lol . someone at the bazaar is taking in spoilt phones . the thing is , i dont know how to wipe off all my data in my phone

ermmm actually im not very sure . i just did a random search at ebay and tabao , and it cost around that price . I don't mind original or non original , as long as i can use the phone can already ...

I din watch S2 video, but if you are talking about the part on separating the digitiser and LCD screen, yes I used hairdryer, have to blow quite a while. I was doing late at night and tired, so blew a while and ripped off by strength, ended up cracking the LCD screen as well. But I supposed you are getting both digitiser and LCD so you may be able to skip that step, just remove the spoilt LCD screen + digitiser together.

Just look thru the seller's items, if you want easy way out, order the more expensive one with frame, that probably save you the time, less parts to remove and blowing and of coz cutting and sticking adhesive strips when fixing the new digitiser & LCD screen on.

Samsung LCD very easy to replace but from taobao make sure you get the whole piece of lcd with the digitizer brand new and original as there is a lot of repaired and refurbished ones around. From your link 300 rmb is just for repairing the lens only. For 550 rmb then its the whole set. You can search in youtube for Samsung S2 LCD repair then you will see tons of videos for it.
