Just remove the battery from the mobo with power off. Or if there is a clear cmos button somewhere then just press it.

Read your motherboard manual to see where is the cmos reset jumper. Short the jumper to reset bios to default settings. Your cpu will be revert to the default speed that is not overclock. Temperature should be normal by then.

K after resetting cmos, Initial temp between 38-44C. Then I did a GPU Stress test using MSI Kombustor. GPU max temp was 75C but my core temp shoots up to max of 95C. And now lowest temp is 45C. However this is a great improvement than it was before. I am still wondering how to reduce the max cpu temp. Everyone thanks again for the advice!

can you try to load optimized defaults and then try again?

think you did not do that after you reset CMOS ?

also, watch out for your CPU Vcore and also, can you use REAL TEAP instead of CORE TEMP.

cheers

Did another stress test for 5 mins. On both Core Temp and Real Temp, the highest temp was 87C. Hopefully my cpu is really back to normal. I can't even play FM2014 coz of its high temp.
