It is basically an DSP with Surround sound all together in package. Hope it doesn’t produce artificial sound. :D

Eh. The prep can only be done on Android ah? Sian, forget it. I don't have an Android device.

Can I use the SXFI AMP with a Windows PC or Mac?

Yes, plug it in to a USB port, and it will be recognized as an audio playback device by Windows or Mac OS.
Before using your SXFI AMP with a PC or Mac, you will need to do a one-time setup of the SXFI AMP with your profile, using an Android device.

For Windows: By default, Windows will use it for stereo playback. For advanced users who wish to playback in multichannel audio, you have to go to the Control Panel / Sound / Manage Audio Devices. Click on “Super X-Fi AMP” Speakers, and click ‘Configure’, to set to 7.1 channels. You can also go into the "Properties" tab / Advanced, to change it to 24 bit 96KHz Studio Quality.
