so to check if whether the oc ram is actually running at 2133 or at wat u set in uefi, i suggested earlier u shud do some ram benchmark test to compare

DDR3-2133 = 1066.5MHz effective (half). So yes.

what will happen if i push it? 23xx~26xx?'
will 1066 mhz be more?

Sorry meant DDR3-2133MHz (Effective) = 1066MHz actual.

If you increased it further to DDR3-2400 then the actual will be 1200MHz. So yes it will increase accordingly.

All the box advertised speeds are effective speeds. You already got what you paid for if it was a 2133 kit.

so can i say if i buy 2400mhz ram as advertise...and choose on xmp it should auto change to 2400mhz?likewise those 2800mhz ones?

then maybe cpuz/task mgr wrong, u can run some mem benchmark to see if its faster with xmp enabled vs xmp disabled
if bm results show same, then try manual input ram settings instead of xmp
tbh i not tried xmp before

yup. you can refer to my screenshot. but now, in task manager, its showing 2400mhz. :S

Wait.. Did I miss something? Is the TS using an mobo that supports higher frequency? Doesn't mean bios show xmp means it supports xmp. I had an h110 mobo and its show xmp but toggle it doesn't affect anything.

Check on your IMC (Integrated Memory Controller) voltages as well. Small chance that it could be a matter of IMC having issues coping with higher frequencies and probably reverting to the "last known stable config" after a brief boot loop or long post etc. Especially when using more sticks of RAM and may require an overvolt.

Especially since based on your task manager pic you're using 4 dimms
(4x4 will stress IMC more than 8x2).

But you may have to check with others what are the "safe" overvolt values that can be done to Haswell-E. I'm using a different platform. 14nm skylake.

wonder, do u hav ai suite installed? is it possible tat settings there override bios settings? i not tried ai suite, so i'm unsure wat it can do
