So I have just received my letter from MINDEF stating I have been called up for my national service(Police).

Nitec holders in NPCO vocation is uncommon but there are a few of them who will be chosen, usually A-level/Diploma holders stand a higher chance of getting into NPCO. Educational level does not determine what kind of vocation you go, it's more of your aptitude.

may I enquire more about after BMT. What is the probability of me getting deployed into NPCO? I have never failed my IPPT if it helps and I have a very clean record in school with a great interest in sports like football

@Blehana - bro, I dont really mind patrolling anywhere as long as I get into the NPCO as I have a great interest in it =)

I prefer being deployed as a neighbourhood watch policeman so as to make my NS life less boring and to learn more

If you pass the main things like ippt, shooting and test, most likely you will be posted to operational posts

I can't answer that, sometimes you don't always get what you want. It's quite rare for an Nitec holder to get into NPCO that's all I know. You still can go to Police Coast Guard, Transcom or SOC. Just give your best and pass your aptitude test which is a must if you want to become an NPCO.

Yessir! I'll give my all during my BMT and hopefully I'll get the vocation I want! Thank you once again!
