Wow they really moved the queue to esplanade park and padang.

They should had planned the queue area before hand. The first person that lead the queue onto the cavenagh bridge to cross the river created the mess today.

My humble account:

Started queuing near songfa bakkutteh at 8.25pm,
reached hong lim park around 9.00
exited hong lim park at 10.00
Crossed fullerton bridge around 10.45
went inside parliament hse at 11.15
Exited parliament house at 11.25

Total 3hrs

Go in just walk past LKY coffin right?

I think the queue at padang should be quite short.

anyway, i did hear an auntie with Chinese accent but giving her a benefit of doubt, she might be the new citizen.

My colleague's mother who is a true blue PRC also went and pay her respect to LKY. Its not only Singaporeans who respect the man, even the foreigners too.

Actually I thought the initial plan is

the crowd will go in by groups bow in front LKY photo and his coffin

but afternoon I see media show a video the crowd is not divided by groups is go in streaming by the side to see


I think in front bow is cater for groups respensitative like from Schools , public sectors , stats boards

Nope, just keep everything in your bag.

When you pass by the metal detection, make sure you have nothing in your pockets, will help to speed up the queue
