Hats off to the guards, ushers and marshals on duty yesterday. I don't think any of them expected the last-minute 24hrs duty and none of them complained. Saw one supervisor asking one of them if they are tired but he didn't back off.

Hi,

I just reached office. Reached City hall mrt at 11.15am and reached the queue at 11.20am. I can see many people swarming towards the Padang. It was hot and queue moved quite fast. The priority q was moving even faster, i think they can enter within 30 mins. There were only few tentage and it was very hot. The school groups also take the priority queue.

Saw many people giving out water along the way. Maybank gave mineral waters and marigold gave out cold fresh juice and yogurt drink too. Saw a malay lady fainted and injured her face and was unconscious and taken to the ambulance.

I met few MPs along the queue. They came to thank us for coming. They are Mr Teo Chee Hean, 2 young Malay MPs and Mr K Shanmugam.

Near the Parliament house, they will give out cards and ask you to pen down your thoughts. There are many screening area. Have put metallic items in the plastic bag provided. Those with bag, just scanned the bag will do.

We walked pass the coffin but was allowed to stop and bow to Mr Lee if you want to. I started to cry when i bowed.

Total I queued for 2hrs 20 mins. Based on my experience best to go down before 11am. Now the queue is even longer.

Rest in peace, Mr Lee Kuan Yew!

well done SAF.

it seems authorities are more flexible in dealing with situations nao : extend the viewing hours to 24 hour, smrt run for 24 hrs, more organised queue at padang, handing out water etc etc.

hope they can continue to exercise flexibility when dealing with public don't just follow the book.

can queue 1st then parents join in later?

think ish no problem cos this ish not buying hello kitty or iphone queue.

every 1 queue for the same purpose : pay respect to the man who transform Sg from 3rd world to 1st world country living condition.

during 2013 he tried to sell his hello kitty plush toys from mcdonald's for $100 to fellow sinkies who are still students and have no earning power.

so why should we give chance to him when you see how he treat his fellow countrymen/women?

Don't forget his epic complain about his amdk being unhappy with him for getting NTUC red bean roti for meeting :s22::s13:

It just goes to show that everyone must be responsible for what they post online - whatever the channel.

Everyone is watching, no matter the occasion.

He is just a troll la. Just that he picks up the wrong situation and wrong time to troll. Getting police to catch him is just too much.

Well, I do enjoy the peace now, without his lorex and whatever fake watch, and also his bike threads.
