Wow!!! The crowd even at this time is really overwhelming. I think this large crowd is just the tip of the iceberg. As most will leave to last minute. I believe tomorrow is gonna be worst since its a Friday and company will allow 1/2 day off rotation.

I know i have to pay my last respect regardless of situation. This is the least i must do (only those who are above 30 will understand). So see you guys at 3.30am.

To be honest, if you really respect the old man and wants to pay tribute.. you don't have to join the queue. Go to any community centres that have the tribute, you can also do the same.

Same. We are stuck opposite the scanners for 1.5hours while the ushers allowed those who came from buses to clear scanners. Only when someone shouted at the ushers and force their way to the scanners then we started moving. Even when queuing at the scanners, those people from the bus still squeeze thru the barricade and cut queue. Total chaos. In the end, the scanners were swarmed from all 3 directions.

I started my queue from 615pm. Cleared Padang ard 730pm. Walked towards Fullerton, bottleneck stuck at the tunnel and along Singapore river. From there on, q is quite smooth. Finished ard 11pm.

Ah yo, You already know the MRT system operate normal hours already have train fault every other day liao. If today another 24hrs operations sure friday "train fault" aka RIP whole day! Another national embarrassment at the international level.
