They let people in padang out by batches. so have to wait till your turn then it will flow.

I dun think they messed up the queue, it's just way too many people.

thanks goodness I started walking inside the queue at 8+pm, reached the main queue at 9pm and out at 2am.

I think if there's one thing LKY wants us to learn, it's not to throw your efforts blindly at inconsequential things.

Queuing for 10 hours just for this is one of those things. It's a nice gesture to queue for a couple of hours to pay respects, but beyond that intelligent rationalization must set in.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that, because I myself stayed up late to see if there was a short queue to join after midnight. Alas it was not to be, so perhaps I will go another day or at the CC tribute locations.

Looks like you got upset. Don't be. As I said I too planned to go down, but sometimes there are better ways to do things. Queuing for 10 hours is not that way.

Rehearsal from 12-5am for the procession, would that be the reason for holding up the q? And I'll be surprised if they didn't rehearse in a mockup place.
