Current queue status at Parliament

worse lor. They treat it like a blardy tourist attraction. Walk pass the coffin giggling and exit. If there wasnt a big sign saying no photography, i think they might jus go up to the coffin for another selfie.

Then again, there are the really sincere older folks who will stop and bow 3 times and walk away with teary eyes. Its OTOT, the marshals wont stop u from bowing or rush u to just walk pass.

Pls, why do you bring up FT ...... i was queueing with all sinkies around me....

1) a sinkie girl behind me was talking to her friend on the phone... and said something like "She told me that go in also cannot see anything....it's really not worth it loh...." She left the queue...

2) Another sinkie unker in front of me took selfie with the queue every 15 mins....

3) Groups of sinkie aunties poses for group photos in the parliament house. Like they are going for cc outing.

4) Sinkie mediacorp celebrity and bloggers posed for photos after paying tribute......why? to show you they are part of the historic event?

This is the cold hard truth - people, especially young ones, treat this whole event like queuing up to see a once in a life time exhibition..... totally no respect to Ah Gong.

Actually there should be 3 queues. 1 for citizens, 1 priority queue and 1 PR/foreign queue.

Citizens like me are the ones who feel more due to LKY policies.

I made the same remark yesterday when i was there. feel that, at the very least, Singaporeans should be given the priority to pay respect to him for building this nation.

guys. i found the end of the queue and started queuing at 5am. finished paying respects at 915am. total = 4 hr 15 min.

it doesnt seem that long (was told 8 hrs). fyi.

I support the citizen queue thingy. Think it is a bit unexpected for them so they did not plan properly....Anyway to email the funeral committee? For the last day, today and tomorrow, there should be a specified citizens queue.

But the gurkha korkors standing there in suits and in full attention very fierce and scary.

In my queue last night, mainly singaporeans looking out for each other. Somebody fainted in the queue, and wihin seconds, the whole queue shouting for help and pointing the medics in the right direction.
