I am 3 weeks from giving birth and would love to pay my respect. I am afraid that I could not tahan the long waiting time.

May I confirm if the priority queue is no more than 1 hour? Also, where does the priority queue start? Thanks.

Why not just visit the community sites. Got heart ah kong will understand.

there are alot of aunites who are there for other reasons. yesterday was total chaos when those people from organisations push thru the barricades and cut the priority queue.

last night i left the queue to grab a bottle of water for my ah ma from the ushers before joining back the queue. squeeze thru the queue and just before i reached my ah ma who was just 1 pax away, this auntie behind me was saying loudly to her entire family (family of around 6 adults with just 1 5 year old kid), " another youngster cut the queue again", i turned back and told her, my ah ma is infront, before i could explain, she shot back" My AH GONG IS INSIDE". WTF, uneducated bitch.

PS: sound like malaysian accent. she said," ji mei li mao"

3 weeks quite bad. should have gone yesterday morning when the priority queue is short. need people to accompany else I think better don't go. The place is hot and loads of people. walk would also have to be careful as there are kerbs. Go community centre is a better option.

People q to pay respect

Then they remember to 'dirty' the place and leave rubbish behind

They also took opportunities to cut q, whole family with one elderly etc

Not to mention, take 'free' things eg umbrella which is meant for people waiting in line during the day when the sun is out, and it can get very warm

Last but not least, some people are probably asking why q so long no goodie bag?

Please, for once, behave and give the man and this nation the respect they deserve
got pple aak for goodie bag?
really faceplam and nonrespect for ahgong

Best u go the procession route w portable chair.
If not just watch the procession from home.

So close to delivery date better don't risk it.

Yes... very good. Really is good to see SGreans looking out for each other!

And my queue picked up rubbish in our area when the bangla with the trash trolley came around. Of course, all this goodwill was at the 1.5hr mark. After that, with the queue merging, some ugliness came up. Queue-cutting...shoving...goodness, this rude biatch bulldozed her way in front of me at the security scanners.

Actually to be fair, prior Q should give Singaporean first, follow by Singaporean PR then FT.

Can easily identified by showing NRIC.

I was queuing with a bunch of PRCs, who took like 5-6 balloons, taking group photo, selfies, wefies...then they don't want the balloon just throw up on the tents..really pissed off.

They treat such event like some carnival.

It's rifle, machine gun.... The one at the door is with one hand inside already... Already prepared.

They have a damn imposing presence, with perfect posture. Even the occifer next to him (not vigil guard) was standing with one leg crooked. I have no doubt one Gurkha can indeed take out a platoon of Taliban.

a snippet of what our Founding Father had said. Can read and think about it while queuing!
