Thanks, i will try to pacify them first. guess they are having a mixed feeling.

can see that you are worried abt your aged folks queuing there but looking at current situation, it is best to persuade them to go community sites to pay tributes instead.

I expect the Q will get worse with just 1+ day left, and most will give up and go to alternative sites and the same situation will arise too, even at alternate sites.

that's why I advise those Singaporeans not to queue again if they have paid their respects at the Parliament House. Give other Singaporeans a chance.

I did mine yesterday (the Q without the floating platform) and went down just to observe the situation just now...

Just came back from city hall. Paid respect from outside the building only.

May I know what the queue is like?? How come go all the way to flowing platform??? I was thinking the cathedral damn near the Parliament House so should be quite fast... Guess I was wrong.

sitting down at padang under the tentage reminisced of army days

i last night queued ard 1130 outside padang. went in ard 1215. stuck inside for about 5 hours before making my way to the anderson bridge underpass > screening area.

came out at ard 615. now with the extension stretched to marina platform, probably got to add a few more 2-3 hours to the waiting time..
