Just wanna share my personal experience when I was there at the parliament house.

At home. I thought I will not have even have one single drop of tears. As I have not been through that era. Somebody who is not related to my family or even shake hand with.

But mix feeling and emotional start to get deepen as I approach the hall of the Parliament house. Seeing ppl cried, the photo of late LKY, the coffin, smell of the roses, vigil guards. I started to feel sad. The scene reminds me of many things:- from my grandfather wake, mr LKY speechs to how I grew up in Singapore. Light tear began to fill in my eyes.

cos it's the whole vibe of that area - emo-ness is very contagious.

Currently in line with my dad. Decided to head down after hearing the queue isn't that bad now, bcos he can't stand too long. Joined the line at 4.15pm

Friends and former colleagues of the late Mr Lee will also hold vigil in his memory during the lying in state at Parliament House. They will be joined by representatives from various branches of government, trade unions, grassroots organisations and other groups, a reflection of his extensive and diverse contributions to nation-building.

Each vigil group, comprising about 20 persons, will hold vigil for 30 minutes. There will be a break of either 30 minutes or an hour between the vigil groups.

queue will stop admitting at 8pm

the time from then on is to clear those already in queue i think

Reach cityhall at 1605. Fast walk non stop to padang reach at 1628. Now at padang, usher say they're clearing all the front ppl from floating plarform. After that the padang group going straight to ph. Estimated waiting time 2h. From padang I still see ppl coming in. But few ppl compared to night time.

Went to tanjong pagar just now. Settled in 30 mins.
The crowd is quite a lot but manageable. Surprisingly. They didn't charge for parking at pinnacle duxton. Meet MP lily Neo who say thank you to everyone after doing the 3 bows.
