There's a show price $2388 for 970T at expo on this weekend.
nt sure if i should whack $ in this model?

Seems pretty attractive price
Eh...Audiohouse expo show is it? Better not lah.

And it's a even older model than the 910, so think carefully.

Can't decide which to get 65" SUHD or 910T. Any recommended place to get 910T at lowest price?

bought 920 after visiting several outlets over last weekends..
final price: $4199
free gifts: mounting bracket & installation, upscale blu ray player, 43" HD TV, $300 mastercard

bought the LG curve sound bar as well at $599 (retail price $899) as there is a bundle promo
free gifts for the bundle: bluetooth speaker and a $250 voucher

in other words... final price for tv is $3,949
43" tv can be traded in for $450 but i did not do it.

If you have budget for 920T, you might as well buy the new C6 with HDR.

wow! mind sharing with us what content you usually view to enjoy the high quality picture?

Blu-ray picture quality is out of this world
(I'm a Blu-ray collector of more than 500 movies)

HD TV Channels are much better than the best LED TVs out there.

This has been discussed many times before since the launch of the marketing term "LED TV" -

There are No LED TVs! ( now selling at all the stores )

The first thing we need to clear up is the confusion created by the marketing of “LED TVs” – there aren’t any! The so-called LED TVs are just LCD TVs that have a backlight that is made of white LED lights. The LEDs are not the display, just the backlight, nothing more! OLEDs are an entirely different emissive imaging display technology (that doesn’t use a backlight). Unfortunately, many people think they already have an LED/OLED TV at home, but they actually have an LCD TV…

Read this:
http://www.displaymate.com/LG_OLED_TV_ShootOut_1.htm

If you see a TV described as ‘LED’ it's actually an LCD display with a backlight that's made of LEDs rather than another kind of light source.

The point of OLED is that it makes images/video "pop" out more with it's deep blacks and high contrast.

Of course, some would say that the colors ain't natural, but the general user usually prefers colors that "pop" compared to flat dull colors - it's why Samsung sells so many of their S/Note series.

Any decent video source is automatically made better by the true blacks and colorful images that isn't dulled by the LCD's backlight.
