Actually, both if not majority of lvl 4/5 shops are selling at retail prices for the components. It all boils down to how each shop treat their customers and how much they value them as well in terms of discount.

So far, PCT is still on the lead with these as compared to other shops.

If that’s the case no need to ma fan just get from local lor, one place get everything better than waiting for stuff to come one by one

thinking of buying cpu+mobo+ram (i5 9600k with aorus pro wifi + 8gb corsair 3000mhz)
from what i see, the price savings are not significant, even if i breakdown my amazon shipments to save on gst. it seems more worthwhile to buy from local and have the additional warranty.

or am i missing something somewhere

To maximise deals, you cannot just select one day and buy everything, using whatever discounts there is. Best is to spread out within a month or so, taking note of discounts from various platforms.

Such as lazada now with their CNY vouchers + qoo10 upcoming weekend vouchers. After comparing on both sites, then make a decision on which shop to buy from.

Oh yea definitely agree that PCT are much friendlier and provide better service. What i meant was why some are saying that Fuwell markup their prices like crazy but actually other shops are selling at same price or if not, higher.

Maybe for certain items and to the unknown, they really mark up? It is always good for oneself to do the comparison rather than rely on hearsay. But for the experienced, they most likely have own preferred shops or platforms to shop from.
