Im not sure if PCT would allow semi-purchased items and help u assemble. Best to call them up as well.
Take note, not everything is cheap in amazon as compared to local. With the rise of qoo10, i can get some items cheaper than what amazon is offering and still comes with local warranty.
For TS, he probably should buy discounted online shipping use self collect, bring the balance of item that shipped from home to nigel shop. Still will have balance for taxi fare and assembly and full warranty for hardware.
So far the only part that might be worth buying on Amazon is only:
-SSD (Crucial MX300 intl wty, send singpost ~$5 return free probably via fedex priority)
-PSU (EVGA P2 10 yr intl wty RMA taiwan).
Otherwise distros with the likes of TD quite gd, PSU issue normally quick 1 for 1 exchange.
Rest local will be a better choice.
