Yes, so now alighting and taking the causewaylink bus to and from Aeon Bukit Indah is the same bus stop already (bus stop just outside Aeon BI).

Just checked, the announcement is on Causewaylink's website.

...

Good info.

I normally take from Giant Nusa Bestari (across the road from Tesco BI) and the bus proceeded to Aeon to pick those people up.

Have seen one evening when 2 buses (mine was already loaded with people from Giant) didn't even manage to clear the queue which snaked all the way up the coffeeshop's steps and went along its side. :s22:

Aeon Tebrau is much better than Aeon Bukit Indah in my opinion.

Also there are some recent changes with the pickup of Causewaylink buses from Aeon Bukit Indah to Singapore.

Now the pickup point (BI to SG) is at the bus stop itself in front of Aeon.

Same bus stop you alight from when you go to Aeon Bukit Indah by CW3 or CW6 Causewaylink buses.

I will post the picture of the notice they posted on the bus stop in the next few days.
Aeon Tebrau City would be my choice as it's much bigger than BI's. More shops and makan choices so you don't even need to think about going outside.

I won't recommend taking bus to Tebrau City for you... cab is safe in general though fare may be higher if they don't turn on the meter. I've been using GrabCar in JB and feel it's pretty safe, if you want/dare to try that.

Otherwise, "safest" cab would be from the taxi kiosk next to JB Sentral which you can see on your right while walking from the CIQ building. There you've to pay the fare at the counter then hop into the cab they allocate to you.

Coming back, I used to take cab from the little kiosk at the side of the road out from the supermarket exit. Tell the person/people sitting under the shelter where you want to go then get into the allocated cab. Pre-determined fare to be paid to driver at destination. Again, higher than meter... I just avoid hailing passing cabs, or even those queuing outside the mall.

Aeon Tebrau City better go by wdl.
I hear the bus to Aeon Tebrau City is not frequent.
By cab is ard RM30.
Need to discuss wif my friend.

Initially our plan is Aeon Bandar dato Onn but is too far..... :s13:

City square n ksl I went quite often so thinking of exploring new places.

Yup, via Woodlands like going to City Square and KSL.

However, I've considered going via JE if it's peak period like Saturday morning. Will take CW bus to Gelang Patah (take breakfast at nearby coffeeshops) then GrabCar to Tebrau. From JB CIQ, GP buses should be more frequent than BI's...

I think 2nd Link will be easier to cross then, since CW buses don't need to queue like the others, then us passengers just have to clear immigration queue with 2 or 3 busloads at any time.

Thinking thoughts :D

GRAB is safe in JB, based on my experience.

If you take GRAB from JB Sentral to Aeon Tebrau or Aeon Bandar Dato Onn, the fare is almost the same (RM 13-15).

I suggest you try both malls.

Yes, I use MY prepaid cards over there, or the M1 prepaid (MCard) which allows us to use the existing data there too.

My friend worry abt safety so most likely stick to city square n ksl.

Have this friend of yours gone to City Square and KSL? If not, just take her there first...?

So from Sngapore to Aeon Bukit Indah, no change in bus stop but go back to Singapore bus stop change to the same bus stop as alighting right? So now go back Singapore need to ask bus driver before paying if his bus got go to Singapore?

Yes, since it's the same bus stop, we need to ask the driver before boarding. I find it a hassle especially in the evenings when there are more buses arriving.

That's the first reason why I chose to continue shopping in Tesco/Giant then take the bus from Giant instead.

So Singapore to Giant Bukit Indah, route no change but Giant Bukit Indah back to Singapore will loop to Aeon Bukit Indah same 'new' bus stop then loop back to Singapore?

Not sure about the route from SG to Giant BI, as I normally walk there from Aeon/Tesco. When I took the bus from Giant, it went through the road across from Aeon's bus stop and that's when I noticed people boarding from there.

Now that they moved the JB-SG boarding point back to the bus stop, I presume it's back to the old route? Have not tried coz there's no queue there so boarding can be a bit chaotic during peak hours.
