CX600M and GTX970

Hi,

Had some problems just wanna ask if 600W is enough for MSI GTX970 armor? CX600M has a 80% efficiency As GTX970 needed 500W. I also see reviews that CX600M is not a good power supply as it explodes when the watt requirement is near 600W.

Phew, I thought CX600M wont make the deal. Haha I got that cos it bundled up with another chasis which i like. Thanks bro for the advice

In actual fact, gtx 970 only use less than 200W.

That's the card draw. TS is talking about whole system draw.

Anyway, the +12V wattage matters more for Pentium 4 and beyond systems (rail splitting may also be important).
