My kid picked up some cycling bug from god knows where. 5.5 years old now and we just did a 35 km return trip from home to MBS (with lunch break in between).

Do you all wear leg sleeves, to prevent you leg from getting Chao Ta?

Arm sleeves are common, leg sleeves seldom see.

Or you wear full length thighs?

Slow and steady lor, around 10km/h. The key probably being that it was a cloudy / windy morning, so didn't get bbq'ed by the sun. He has a 2nd hand Woom2 but I think he's just about to outgrow it soon ...

Bedok reservoir to MBS and back.
How do you insert image directly into a thread comment? I tried to do it and it says I'd have to have an external link

Final update before the bike is finally being build.

Realized that my bike stand I didn't secure it properly when i was building it, so while fixing it the headset , the frame fell from the stand to the floor and it cracked.

Managed to find someone on carousel to fix and I am impressed with the work.

Well I have some minor stuff to be done.
1. Chop the fork off
2. Fix the brake cables back to the new shifter.
3. Wrap the bar Tape to the bike
4. Wrap some new chain back to the bike.

With this the bike will be done , estimated weight of the bike is around 7.3kg once done .which is 900 grams off the old weight

carbon micro cracked cannot take lightly. Just to be safe suggest ultrasonic scope scan to check on the surface.

The bike is finally done and built. Weight is 7.5 kg as i didnt account for the bar tape and increased the stack of spacers.

This will most likely be my bike for the next 2-3 years till something new come out in the market as its light enough to race on and comfortable enough to do long touring rides.
