Keep left be it walk or cycle, some bugger dunno how to keep left then walk towards me, I will just stop infront of him/her and let them move away.
Then you keep most left to signal to the cyclist that he should move.I keep left when I walk.
But end up cyclist still stop infront of me because he want avoid the person infront of me who keep right when walking.
Smrt had to put up dividers at the underground stations cos people don't keep to the left. Everyone occupies their favourite side and walk at their favourite pace.
This is when a small bicycle bell comes in handy.
Ring the bell once or at most twice. Dont ring the bell to signal your frustration as that may make some people upset.
Most people dont intentionally want to block the whole path, and they will quickly move aside when they become aware that a cyclist is behind them.
Once you pass them, remember to say "Thanks" or wave a thanks hand signal to them for making the effort to move aside for you.
Pedestrian, cyclist, driver, immobile on escalator all same rule.
Keep left unless overtaking.
Is always keep left, whether be it pedestrian or cyclist. But sometimes pedestrians do not always keep left so cyclists cannot always keep left.I see the people walking infront of me, one keep left, one keep right.
I third person walk centre
End up the cyclist have to siam to his left and right avoid the people.
Isn't it very dangerous ?
In such cases, if you are confident or skillful enough, can ride off path just to go around that obstacle.chiu know some peepur chiu ring bell or say excuse me ish no use de because they wearing ear buds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
In such cases, if you are confident or skillful enough, can ride off path just to go around that obstacle.
Otherwise, just ride slowly behind until the path gets wide enough to ride pass safely.
Local footpaths tends to have many forks and you can just wait till the next junction to overtake safely.
You have a point here.cannot cycle off path wait the grass will die and damage the grass de ok.
You have a point here.
But this situation is very rare cuz most of the time, there are other ways to deal with the obstacle.
Where is it? My side when cyclist come from behind, I walk at left side, he ring ring, I walk to right side, he also ring ring, like I must stop there and let him pass.I see the people walking infront of me, one keep left, one keep right.

Where is it? My side when cyclist come from behind, I walk at left side, he ring ring, I walk to right side, he also ring ring, like I must stop there and let him pass.
IMHO.Those cyclists who put on helmets should be on the road. Not on pavement. Why so kiasi?
