Hi I'm a foreign student who took O-levels several years ago. During JAE i didn't choose to go to poly and went for JC instead. Then I dropped out of JC (cuz the way they mug for exam is just horrendous) and wanted to go to poly to do what I like, using my O-level. I took A-level though in 2014, just tried it out, didn't turn out good. Then I applied to poly in March 2015 after my As results came out, using my O-level grades (L1R4 16)
My Os results:
- E maths: A2
- A maths: A2
- Eng: C5
- combined human: B4
- Chem: B3
- Physics: C5
My courses applied were mainly engineering and clean energies. I applied to RP, SP, Ngee Ann in 2015 and all got rejected. I thought my DAE was too late at that point of time, so this year I tried again during JAE period.
RP has rejected my application by the time I'm writing this so I'm a bit worried, still waiting for TP, Ngee Ann and SP. How does this DAE thing work? They say it's by merit but I really doubt so since most of the courses I applied for RP are like 18-20+ in L1R4. Anybody who applied through DAE before keen to share some info with me? Any helps or advice are appreciated, thanks.
